Eucalyptus is an evergreen tree native to Australia. The leaves contain eucalyptol, a common flavoring ingredient in commercial mouthwash, cough drops and vaporizer fluids.
Botanical Name: Eucalyptus globulus Labill.
Directions: To use as a tea, add 1 tsp. of herb to a tea infuser and place in a tea cup. Pour boiling water over infuser, cover, and steep for 3-5 minutes.
Safety Info:Not to be used by persons with inflammatory diseases of the gastro-intestinal and bile ducts and severe diseases of the liver. Do not use eucalyptus preparations on areas of the face and especially the nose in infants and young children.
